The main level is made for gathering, with an open kitchen, a dining table that seats everyone, and a living room that spills out to the deck. Upstairs, a game room and wet bar give the group a second place to land, so the night does not have to end just because dinner did.
Five bedrooms in the main house give everyone room to spread out, and the sixth is a guest house of its own, with a private living room, kitchen, and bathroom. It works well for grandparents who want a quiet corner, a couple who keeps different hours, or an extended stay that needs a little separation. Henley sleeps up to 16.
The location is the other half of the story. You are tucked between South Congress and South First, which puts the shops, restaurants, and live music of SoCo within walking distance, with Soho House a few blocks over. Elizabeth Street Café, the Vietnamese café and French bakery at the end of the street, is an easy morning walk for pho or a coffee and pastry. Downtown is across the river, close enough to see from the pool and quick to reach when you want it.
